TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions apply to lessons given by Jacappella Franchisees and Teachers in Day Nurseries and Village Hall or Community Centre settings.
Our fee structure has two elements
MEMBERSHIP/ENROLMENT FEE
A membership fee of £18.00 is payable annually to Jacappella Limited
This is due before your child begins classes and entitles your child to follow the course
The membership year runs from September to end of August. Children joining in September(Autumn Term) pay £18.00, children joining in January (Spring Term) pay £15.50 and children joining after Easter (Summer Term) pay £13.00
All children renew their membership each September. Renewal is automatic and renewal fee is payable unless notice to discontinue is given in writing to your Jacappella Teacher
During the year you will receive a CD with original songs used in the course
Medals, certificates and reports will be awarded at the end of each of the three terms
On renewal of membership you will receive the next CD in the series
CLASS FEES
Fees for classes are to be paid directly to your Jacappella Teacher or Franchisee
Fees are due half termly in advance
Fees must be received by your Jacappella Teacher on or before the first lesson of the half term
A late payment fee of £5 may be charged if payment is not made by the first lesson of the half term
Fees are payable until notice to discontinue is given
CLASSES
Classes are thirty minutes in duration and are given weekly
CLASSES MISSED
Classes missed through a child's non attendance will not be refunded
If a class is missed by the teacher, the fee for that class will be credited on the next invoice or the class will be held at another time
If any credits are outstanding when notice to discontinue has been given, then such credits will be offset against the final invoice or refunded in cash
NOTICE TO DISCONTINUE
Notice to discontinue must be given in writing to your Jacappella Teacher or Franchisee
If notice is not received in writing by The Teacher, then it will be deemed not to have been served and lessons will continue and fees remain payable until such notice is received in writing by The Teacher or Franchisee
A full half term's notice in writing is required or half a term's fees will be charged in lieu of notice
On receipt of your Membership Fee, Jacappella Limited will provide the benefits outlined under Membership Fee. Your Jacappella Franchisee or Teacher is responsible for delivering the classes on a weekly basis. Queries regarding classes should be addressed to your Jacappella Teacher or Franchisee. Queries regarding membership should be addressed to Jacappella Limited at the Head Office address.
We want every child to embark on a musical journey with Jacappella and to enjoy their music making, receiving high quality tuition from our Teachers and Franchisees.
Should you feel you are not receiving the high quality of service expected from our Jacappella Franchisees or Jacappella Teachers, we would like to hear from you and we will endeavour to deal with your query as swiftly as possible.
